Opening ceremony and other social events

Opening ceremony and Welcome cocktail

Opening ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 24, at 12:00 in Biljana Hall in Hotel Metropol.

MAKO CIGRE invites all Conference participants and guests to a cocktail party that will take place at the pool terrace at Hotel “Bellevue” or the terrace of hotel “Metropol” (weather permitting) after the opening ceremony.

Sunday dinner and Monday lunch

MAKO CIGRE and its partners invite registered Conference participants to a dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday that will be served in the Restaurant of Hotel Metropol.

Gala dinner

MAKO CIGRE will organize a Gala dinner for the Conference participants on Monday in the restaurant of Hotel “Bellevue”. The dinner is included in the Conference fee.
Tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased at the Conference reception desk for a price of 1500 MKD (approx. 25 EUR).

Farewell cocktail

The Conference will conclude with a farewell cocktail on Tuesday, on the Terrace of Hotel Metropol.

Study Committee and poster sessions :: Monday - Tuesday

In addition to the Plenary sessioin, the Conference will be organized in 16 Study Committee sessions and one poster/dialog session.

SC sessions will take place in four halls.
The poster/dialog session will also include papers authored by undergraduate students.

Information for authors and presenters

More information about preparation of presentations and posters can be found in the Authors' section

Half an hour before the start of the morning and the afternoon sessions, session moderators and the authors that will present their papers will have a chance to meet in Hotel Metropol lobby. The objective of these meetings is to familiarize the authors with the course of the sessions.

The topics and questions for discussion were proposed by the reviewers and the study committees. Paper presentations, including discussion, are limited to 20 minutes.

MAKO CIGRE will provide all the necessary technical equipment (computer with a video projector and other equipment as appropriate).
